Christmas Eve Service In Crystal Beach, Texas, Christmas Eve At Festival park

Bolivar Peninsula's three United Methodist Churchs are working together to host a Christmas Eve Drive-in Worship service. St. Matthew's UMC in High Island, Bay Vue UMC in Crystal Beach, and Port Bolivar UMC in Port Bolivar are inviting friends and neighbors to come to the Pavilion at Festival Park at 5 pm on December 24th. You are invited to drive in, park, tune your radio to 87.9 FM, and watch the service from your car. This is in response to being able to meet together as the church in a time of wearing masks and social distancing. This provides an opportunity to gather together to hear the story of Jesus' birth and to share in Holy Communion.

The nativity story will be told through a drama with Mary, Joseph, Angels, and Shepherds telling the story of how Jesus came to be born in Bethlehem. There will be Christmas carols and all are invited to share in Holy Communion. Individual communion cups will be handed out as you enter the Crabfest grounds.

The service will begin promptly at 5 pm so you are encouraged to come a little early and park and listen to Christmas music while you wait for the service to begin.

Bolivar LIVE will be onsite and LIVE Stream on our Social Media Sites in case you're not in town and would like to attend.
