The weather has been less than perfect the past few days, but we have still managed to make the best of it, and catch good numbers of fish when the wind/water / and weather cooperates, and are able to get out on the bay. Surface Temperatures in the mid to upper 50’s, and air temps up to the mid 50’s have made for some brisk rides across the bay. We have done a number of family trips fishing with shrimp under a popping cork and caught black drum, reds, and trout, with a few flounder mixed in. We have also thrown artificials and have done quite well with them as well, fishing over shell beds. Down South in the Blue Moon color seemed to produce well for us the past few days, and the early morning topwater bite is starting to heat up on smaller-size lures. Now that we have ventured into Spring, and we have several days forecast to be in the 70’s to low 80’s fishing will continue to get better as the weather and water stabilize, so if you are looking to have an entertaining outdoor experience on the water, reach out, and we will make it happen.
