A yearly event the second Saturday of December, kids and adults gather along the beach and watch the parade as floats of all kinds make their way along the sandy path. Golf carts, Jeeps, Truck and Trailers are decorated in all fashions, they’re also judged for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophy. Themes vary from Santa’s work-shop to Elvis dancing to his favorite Christmas song. Bring a bag kids most everyone showers on-lookers along the route with candy and goodies…. Starting at the Crystal Beach Fire Department and traveling to the beach, down a ways and then looping back to the Fire Department where Santa is waiting to hand out goodie bags to each child and for a picture to be taken with each child, he’s always listening to see just what they’re hoping for Christmas morning.
