A yearly event and loved by all. Families and friends converge on Bolivar to relax, vacation and enjoy our 27 miles of Texas Beachfront Coastline. Restaurants, Realtors and area businesses rollout the red carpet for home owners and vacationers with Fresh Seafood, fully stocked stores and shops along with fully furnished vacation rentals. Live music is booked at area venues on Bolivar for the whole weekend celebration and is most weekends from Springtime till Fall. The real show is as the sunsets over Galveston Bay and groups gather along the beachfront to put-on a skyward show of fireworks. We've always said Bolivar Peninsula has a 27 mile fireworks display enjoyed by all. For those with a great view relaxing on your deck can be just as good as beachfront. Eyes are pointed skyward for hours as our upper Texas Gulf Coast becomes a giant display in the sky with a sky filled with stars as the backdrop.
