For the fourth year, Crystal Beach Community Church will be hosting the Bolivar Peninsula Christmas Dinner. This year it will be “In Memory Of…” with names of Peninsula residents or former residents who died in 2018 added.2018
Traditional Christmas dinner (turkey, dressing, ham, green beans, mashed potatoes & pumpkin pie) will be delivered to those who are unable to get out. due to illness, work, etc. Need names, address & phone numbers as soon as possible in order that we will have an idea how many “to go” meals to prepare.
For those who have no transportation and would like to attend, we will use the CBCC van for transportation. Christmas music, dominoes and other fellowship will be available at the church. Full meals will be served buffet-style at Crystal Beach Community Church starting at 1:30 pm, Christmas Day. Everyone welcome. join us for early for Christmas music, dominoes and other fellowship while we’re preparing the meal. Donations of money and/or food welcomed. Need turkeys, spiral-sliced ham (for portion control), dressing, rolls, veggies and desserts. If you’re able, please bring a covered dish for the buffet. Any food that is part of your family tradition would be a great addition. We are in need of desserts especially pumpkin pie for the delivered meals.
Need volunteers for cooking, delivering, serving, cleanup, etc. Deliveries will be made in High Island, Gilchrist, Crystal Beach and Port Bolivar.
