It's a mini July 4th on the Bolivar Beachfront days leading up to New Years Eve but the night of is the best. With it getting dark around 5:30pm the fireworks will start and not end till the clock strikes Midnight when all bring in the new year. Fireworks are available at area stands and may be shot on the beachfront. Pick up all spent fireworks casings and leave the beach as clean as when you arrived plus. Fireworks stand will not be open or fireworks shot if there is a burn ban in effect, please make sure spent casings are cooled down before disposing of.
