5th annual Bolivar Peninsula Christmas Dinner, In Memory of... If you have a friend or relative who has passed, please provide info and they will be included. For those who are homebound, meals will be delivered to Peninsula residents from High Island to Port Bolivar. Delivered meals will be turkey & dressing, ham, mashed potatoes, green beans and pumpkin pie with trimmings and will be delivered beginning at 11 am on Christmas Day. To make arrangements for delivery, please call Edith Watson, 409-599-9366. Pot luck style Christmas dinner will be served at Crystal Beach Community Church beginning at 1:30 pm-3:30 pm. No to-go orders. Everyone is welcome. If possible, please bring prepared food, perhaps your family’s favorite, whatever it may be. Volunteers are needed for everything from deliveries and donations to kitchen duties including Christmas music, food prep...set up serving area, carving turkeys, warming food, serving, etc. Donations of both food and $$ are needed. Turkeys, ham (spiral sliced only for portion control). Turkeys can be baked, smoked or fried. Uncooked turkeys will be needed by Sunday, Dec. 22.
