David Varnado started playing the fiddle when he was five years old. His father taught him, and by the time he was ten he was playing in a Cajun band. At eighteen, he stated playing with George Dearborne and Branded.
Layne Allen's musical style is Texas Country and he draws inspiration from Cody Johnson, Randy Rogers, and Randy Travis.
