Enjoy Saturday morning at Fort Travis, walk thru history and go back in time at the beautiful Fort Travis on Bolivar Peninsula. Walk thru Battery 236 and the Kimble Battery. Explore the rooms and see what each room held, each room is labeled so you know where you're standing in history, how many shells or kegs of powder that room held. See the radio room and where the officer's hall was. Enjoy a picnic at Fort Travis and let the kids play in the playground. Once you're done, enjoy an afternoon beachfront on our 27 miles of beachfront paradise. You never know when Bolivar LIVE will be on hand with FREE Giveaways!!!
