The surface water temperature is 85 degrees in East Galveston Bay. As in previous weeks, the Water clarity is still stirred up more than usual with all the freshwater entering the bay system from the heavy rains up. We are still finding good numbers of solid trout on the protected Shorelines over shell pockets, in areas with better-looking water, as well as Redfish along the grasslines.

With a High Tide at 6:10am, elevated tide once again has covered Hwy 87 but not as bad as yesterday at this time. I'm pretty sure once again TxDot, and Galveston County will do what's possible to clean our access to paradise and we'll keep you informed today with Bolivar Live and on Bolivar Live TV on Roku and Amazon Fire TV. Take a drive down Hwy 87 now for overnight travel, and a look at overnight tides, the next high tide is about 7:16 am Thursday Morning.
