Breaking News, you can see Bolivar Peninsula LIVE during Hurricane Laura through our 10 LIVE webcams, beachfront, bay, Rollover Pass, and Fort Travis! Bolivar Peninsula may not be on the centerline, but Hurricane Laura is inching West in the last update at 5am. It's looking like a replay of Rita so far, YES Bolivar LIVE is bailing out with the Bolivar LIVE trailer in tow, heading west to Katy.

Well, the count down has begun, Marco will come and go with little effect if any, but Laura, that could be a whole other story. It's good to see people moving RV's out and Golf Carts, they're getting prepared for a Hurricane. Despite the track, we will most likely see a power outage plus more depending on landfall. Best to be prepared for the worst, I've always said I can always come back.

It may be one of the last few morning views of the beachfront depending on when the tide rises. Marco will come across Bolivar or close ass a Low and well Laura, we're still waiting and trying to figure her out but as of now, she's predicted to make landfall to our East in La. but things could change.

Tropical Storm Marco Path Moves To The East A Little!

We'll it made a move with the last update and word from Greg Bostwick is, "Marco is now moving generally to the north at about 12-15 mph with highest winds just below hurricane intensity. It is now expected that Marco will likely make landfall to our east over southeast Louisiana Monday morning as a tropical storm. After landfall, a gradual turn more to the west can be expected with the remnants.

The weekends looking great but come later Sunday we could start to see the effects of Marco or Laura. Now's the time to think ahead, batten down any outdoor items, if you're leaving think about what's in your freezer or fridge due to power outages maybe, tie-down your outdoor furniture and trash can and have a plan if you do need to leave. We all love out 27 miles of paradise.
